氷室神社は3世紀からの伝説もある古い神社だ。ざっといくつかのエピソードをウィキぺディアから引用するとこんなぐあいだ
●平清盛が福原遷都の際、兵庫七弁天の一社として市杵島比売を奉斎した。
●平教盛がここに別邸を建て、後白河法皇を幽閉した場所であった。
●建武3年/1336年の湊川の戦いで、楠木正成が会下山に陣する時、この地より人夫が出て仕えたという。
●寛政から享和（1789年～1803年）までは名水「夢野の清水」があって、湯に沸かして遠近の人に入浴させ、氷室の湯といった。
●元禄年間/1688年-1704年以降の古文書には「氷室古跡」並びに「弁財天社」として崇敬が厚いと載っている。
ところどころにある案内板が導いてくれる。
夢野伝説、仁徳天皇、源平合戦、それに楠木正成とそうそうたる看板役者が揃う。
夢野の地は、元来、禁野（イミノ）といい、昔高貴なお方の墓所（古図に「御塚」と記す。香坂皇子の御墳墓と言われている）で殺生禁断の地だった。
天子遊猟の御猟地があったことからも殺生禁断の地とされていた。
夢野には十数個の古墳があり、石棺や鏡、多くの器物が出土しており、貴族が居住してた。
夢野の名は日本書紀の神宮皇后の条、仁徳天皇の条、摂津国風土記、法隆寺資材帳に出ています。
この地は大化の改新以前から農耕も発達しており、夢野は神戸の中心であった。

神社に住居が迫ったのだろう、民家の隙間にさりげなく鳥居が立つ。
一の鳥居をくぐると一気に空気が変わる。
結界を示す石柱が二の鳥居代わり、真正面が本殿・恋愛弁天。紅葉の名残も何か物悲しく感じる。
ふと奈良東大寺参道近くの「氷室神社」を思い出した。
祭神の一柱である仁徳天皇は一緒なのだが、奈良の氷室神社では本殿に並んでいる額田大中彦皇子 ぬかたのおおなかつひこのおうじ だが、ここではバス道にある先ほどの「夢野熊野神社」内の摂社に祀られている。
本来異母弟の仁徳天皇に押さえ込まれたのだから、横に並ぶのがおかしいのかもしれないが。
境内に入り右手に手水舎、民家が境内敷地ぎりぎりに建っている。
左奥にある赤い祠は不明、その後ろに「清盛七弁天」とある。氷室神社の本殿のことである。
境内東側の境界線に沿って並ぶ石の祠（不明）と石碑たち。
ここ氷室神社はほんとにたくさんのものが立ち並ぶ。
宝田大明神？
田中元総理は金龍神が守護していたという噂もある。

清盛が深く信仰していた安芸国厳島神社をこの地、福原京の周囲七箇所に勧請したものの一つである。

今度は境内の左側に並ぶいろいろ。手前は「井桁に一の字」の紋、誰だろう？ 
その横の祠には「善黒大神」「七色白龍」詳細不明
金明水とは富士山の霊水のことだが、なぜここに？

正一位たち、稲荷神社の関係か？
🔹氷室稲荷神社
ここから先がさらに一段と空気が変わる。
鳥居の後ろの緑の手すり、波板で囲われた建物が稲荷神社の祠となる。
実はあの中にはたくさんの石碑や石像が置かれていたのだが、久しく体に感じるものがあって撮影までは至らなかった。
これは狐だろうが、なんてユニークなこと、後ろにはツワブキが色を添えていた。
🔹これが氷室
日本書紀 仁徳天皇62年の夏の条に皇兄額田大中彦皇子が闘鶏野/つげので氷室を発見した記事があり、地元ではその場所はここだとされている。右横の石組みも城壁を想像させる。 
洞窟の入り口の上に何か漢字が書かれているが．．． 最 ？ ？ 国．．．

これも境内東側にある囲みの中にあった「氷室清瀧」水は乏しかったがここが夢野清水の場所だろうか

そして仏法の守護神「八大龍王」が水辺を守護。
⊳八大龍王とは
この一見主体性が無いように見える数々のもの、それは移り変わってきた歴史や思想の形跡が、そのまま上書きされずに残っている貴重な証なのかもしれない。
三世紀の太古から平安、鎌倉、室町、江戸、そして明治～昭和、平成と、まるで組み合す前のジグソーパズルのように散りばめられているように思う。
兵庫区役所のサイトにここ夢野村の主な伝説「夢野の鹿伝説(夢野町)」「額田大仲彦の氷室伝説(氷室神社)」「鶏塚(氷室町)」をはじめ付近の伝説もまとめられている、それは非常に興味深かった。
