明智光秀の亀岡城跡（旧亀山城）を歩く
堀となっている南郷池の脇の遊歩道
見事な石垣の一部が見える
亀山城跡は現在は宗教団体 おおもとの所有。
美しく、きれいに保護されているのはいいことかもしれない。申し込めば一部の場所が見学できると言うことだ。この日は敷地内を歩かせてもらった。
ここにも美しい石垣の一部が見える、上は見事なもみじがアーチをつくっている。
城跡を一周するように町を歩いた 
ゴミが少なく、さりげない気づかいのある家が目立った
建物の欠けを補うようにつくられた小庭。
ありきたりのブロック塀も、気の利いた鉄のプレートと鉄格子が◎
やはり京都だ、町歩きで随所に「粋」を見ることができる。おそらく都の歴史の上に培われた文化なのだろう。
車を置いて自分の足で歩いてみることで、ありのままの町の姿を見ることができる。旅先では、時間をゆったりと使ってのんびりと歩いてみることだ。
