高野山名物「花坂のやきもち」人気の逸品は山を少し下らないといけない。高野山から葛城町方面へ少し下ったところ「花坂」にある。
その中でも特に人気なのが元祖やきもち「上きしや」だ。今では電車やバス、車での参拝者がほとんどとなったが、昔は歩いて参拝する客で賑わった場所だ。
